No one was complaining. The only people that were complaining were those producers and artists out there that 1. couldn't afford the beats 2. couldn't use the kits to make something pop 3. don't have the theory and background to make the tracks they were making 4. don't have the networks. I feel that Shondrae has paid his dues and most of the time, its not just the producer making the same tracks over again. If Beyonce said, make me the same beat and I'm going to flip it vocally, Shondrae might have played her a dozen beats but she may have said, nah I want something like a milli and it will be a single, he'll follow suit. Like most producers would, the neptunes beats sounded similar for years, but no one complained. In this game, you have to have swagger and you have to be confident, if I was in the game, I'd feel the same way because no one is giving anyone props except the buyers who follow the artist and take a interest in the producer. If you say laying down a simple 808 beat and having the artist bring the song to its highest level, like what happened in this case, then Bang should get all the credit.See to me if an artist is a good lyracist, like Lil Wayne, then he can pretty take any track and blaze it.
