Bangladesh Rips “A Milli” Co-Producer Cha-Lo

Mr. Bangladesh gives a quick rundown of his discography then proceeds to ruthlessly tear into "A Milli" co-producer Cha-Lo for some of the controversy surrounding the track’s creation.

For obvious reasons, it’s difficult to tell whether some of the more ridiculous, ego-filled comments are actually Bangladesh’s outlook on the world or just a chemically induced rant that happened to be caught on camera.  Either way, some producers should truly stay behind the scenes.

  1. Bangledesh beats all sound the same too, with them cheesy bleeps and bloops. lol

The a-milli beat is nothing to be proud of!!! That beat is just a vocal sample of a nigga saying amillie and 808/909 drumkit. Trashy if you ask me.

In fact, he should feel like a complete idiot for paying for thta sample and not just sampling himself saying “a milli”. Its not dudes fault, its his. Once he found out he should have just sampled himself saying amilli. lol

I’m not a hater, but sometimes unnecessary and unwarranted arrogance brings out that kind of energy.

  2. @spank delux
I won’t comment on the quality of his production… some people like it, some people don’t, but I absolutely agree with you that his display of arrogance was unnecessary and unwarranted.

Bangladesh is an established producer who really should have better things to do than attack a relatively unknown producer. Regardless of what actually happened with the creation of the song, Bangladesh would have been much better off by moving on without acknowledgment of any controversy. This is where the old "if i don’t acknowledge you, you don’t exist" theory comes into play.

With that said, something tells me that the interviewer might have taken slight advantage of Bangladesh’s condition at the time of filming.  This kind of reminds me of Lil Wayne’s syrup induced rant against mixtape DJ’s.

  3. I AGREE WITH YOU GUYS ON THE AEROGANT PART OF THIS VIDEO BUT HE IS RIGHT ‘THERE’S ALOT OF FUCK NIGGA’S OUT THERE.SOME OF THEM ARE IN THIS FORUM lol NAH THERE EVERYWHERE.WHEN YOU TRY TO HELP PEOPLE WHO DON’T APPRECIATE SHIT AND PEOPLE THAT TAKE YOUR KINDNESS FOR WEAKNESS CAN CAUSE THIS TYPE OF ATTITUDE.
JUST MY OPINION.YOU DON’T HAFTO HAVE A BIG RECORD DEAL TO RUN INTO A PIECE OF SHIT NIGGA.HE ALSO SAID ITS ABOUT QUALITY ANOTHER GOOD POINT. I NEED TO WORK ON THAT MYSELF.YES SELF ADMISSION ‘ AM I THE ONLY ONE ? I NEVER BLAST A WELL ESTABLISHED PRODUCER IN THE ENTIRETY.THAT I WON’T DO.HE WORKED WITH BEYONCE HE MUST BE DOING SOMETHING RIGHT.I’D BE HAPPY TO WORK WITH A LITTLE ‘MO FUCK IT GIVE ME BRANDY ‘lol
TRAXX KEEPING IT REAL .YA DIG

  4. I think beatmakers who only use 808s are just lazy.
There’s always a drum that sounds better than a 808 IMO.
there’s nothing creative or musical about the A Millie beat.

The vocal is funny but the beat overall is just pure garbage.

  5. I had respect for dude because I thought he was a made professional. But after this, It sounds like he’s insecure of himself and has to bash on someone else who’s according to him “smaller” than he is so he can feel superior. Should have left it alone and been himself/ real about the situation but instead put on a show. He’ must be new to the spotlight and didn’t know how to act.

  6. That amilli joint and beyoncye’e divia joint sound mighty similar. Its the same track ! This has been done before .. LIL JOHN DID THE SAME THING WITH YEAH FEATURING USHER AND LUDA AND PETEY PABLOS JOINT CALLED FREAK A LEAK.SO WHATEVER MONEY HE’S MAD ABOUT IM SURE HE MADE OUT LOVELY.YA DIG

  7. Dude got talent stop hating…I find this funny, dude just got a grammy off that beat…and I think its bananas, I dont like that Beyonce track dou, bc its a klone…but yea I’ve been listening to dude music for a good min. he came up…he makes smashes…

  8. This just made Bang look bad. The arrogance is not needed. He should let the work speak for itself. I did hear both beats and Bang just simplified the drum track. The sample is the same. So it depends how you look at it. Is the sample what makes the beat or the drums? It you say the sample then Bangladesh stole that ish from Cha-Lo. If you say laying down a simple 808 beat and having the artist bring the song to its highest level, like what happened in this case, then Bang should get all the credit.

See to me if an artist is a good lyracist, like Lil Wayne, then he can pretty take any track and blaze it. This a-milli beat wouldnt be ish with another artist on it. Some people have tried but no one has tore up the track like Wayne.

So to get back to my point Bangladesh should step back into the studio and keep working on those beats. Because if he keeps the crappy Kanye attitude and recycled beats he’s gonna end up like little Jon. Granted Lil Jon is still making tracks but hes not at the level he once was because everyone was able to copy or even perfect his sound. The same thing is already happening to this a-milli beat right now. Ive heard that simple 808 drum track on numerous beats and mix tapes recently. He needs to evolve and drop the attitude so he can broden himself as a producer.

  9. the beats good but he should know his history ,hes sampling a tribe called quest and he thinks its just his co producer ,lmao hes shit producer just made one good joint

  10. Thirsty vs. Hungry was a real statement. I feel that Shondrae has paid his dues and most of the time, its not just the producer making the same tracks over again. If Beyonce said, make me the same beat and I’m going to flip it vocally, Shondrae might have played her a dozen beats but she may have said, nah I want something like a milli and it will be a single, he’ll follow suit. Like most producers would, the neptunes beats sounded similar for years, but no one complained. In this game, you have to have swagger and you have to be confident, if I was in the game, I’d feel the same way because no one is giving anyone props except the buyers who follow the artist and take a interest in the producer. The labels don’t care.

  11. Correction the neptunes made all different beats they made nore’s superthug to busta’s pass the Courvoisier. The neptunes are the shit.Chad hugo ‘you owe me one.VA

  12. I was referring to using the same Triton kits, snares, claps, and drums along with the FX kits and instrument kits in the banks. No one was complaining. The only people that were complaining were those producers and artists out there that 1. couldn’t afford the beats 2. couldn’t use the kits to make something pop 3. don’t have the theory and background to make the tracks they were making 4. don’t have the networks. Chad Hugo is a genius bro. I know. Grab those Kenna albums.
