Amir Abdullah’s NYC Record Store Tour

January 30, 2010

DJ Amir Abdullah (Kon & Amir, Wax Poetics) gives a tour of NYC record stores, including The Sound Library, Tropicalia in Furs, Good Records, and Big City Records.  While pointing out some of the other notable landmarks, Amir touches on popular trends in vinyl such as Psych Rock, Library, and Brazilian.

Want more info about Tropicalia In Furs and its owner Joel dos Santos Oliveira?  Check out both of the articles that were referenced in the video: The Village Voice and The Guardian.

Hello just wanted to give you a quick heads up.
The words in your content seem to be running off the screen in Firefox.
I’m not sure if this is a formatting issue or something to do
with web browser compatibility but I figured I’d post to let you know.
The design and style look great though! Hope you get the issue resolved soon.
Cheers
